Dual

Time for handicap rules

Set the names, log the routes, and let the scoreboard start causing unnecessary feelings.
fun but ruthless

A rope-fuelled score feud with as many climbers as you bring. In a dual, it’s a clean head-to-head; in a battle, the whole roster piles on. Harder UIAA grades are worth more, every fall shaves the score down, and unfinished tries still earn partial credit if the highpoint was meaningful.

Scoring reference
In other words: hard climbing is rewarded, sloppy scoring is not. A fair little bureaucracy.
πŸ‘‘ Joshua is the Master of the Crux
Joshua has opened the account for suffering. Miguel now occupies the early seat of mild embarrassment. It is early, but the scoreboard has opinions already.
Current score: 0 points.
Meanwhile, Miguel holds the noble title of Aid Climber of the Session.
